WOLVOX ERP Server/Client Connection Settings

If you are using the WOLVOX ERP program on more than one computer, you can follow the steps below to establish a client connection.

On the host computer:

1
st Step: First, create a user record by running your Control Panel program on your host computer. You can register the user from the "User Registration" field in the "User Settings" area of the Control Panel program.

2nd Step: After completing the user registration, click the "User Authorization" button at the top.

3rd Step: In the screen that opens, select the company you want to authorize the user and mark the ones you want to grant from the privileges on the bottom side and click the "Save Authorizations" button.

4th Step: After completing the user registration, check the host's IP number. To do this, from the "Start" menu of your computer, go to the "Run" field, type "cmd" and press enter. Type "ipconfig" on the black screen that appears and press enter again. You will see the IP number.

On the User Computer:

1
st Step: Install the WOLVOX program you want to use on the user computer. You only need to install WOLVOX on the user computer. You do not need to install the Control Panel program.

2nd Step: Run your program and click "Server Settings" button in the "User Login" field.

3rd Step: In the "Host IP" field, type the IP number that you check on the host. (Ex. 192.168.0.10) Enter "3055" in the "Host Connection Port" field if you have not made any port changes to the host. If you have updated the port number, enter the updated number.

4th Step: Enter the user name and password of the user you created and click "OK" button. The user computer will be connected to the host computer.

If you are having problems with the connection:

If you are unable to establish a connection even though you have taken the necessary actions, it may be caused by any of the following. Try to log in again after checking.

  • Firewalls may be active on the host or user computer. You can turn off firewalls or open ports 3054, 3055, 3056 when it is on.

  • Your operating system user accounts can have the highest level of security audits. You can restart your computer after lowering the level by entering the user account settings.

  • The antivirus software used on the host computer or the user computer may not allow the connection. You can open ports 3054, 3055, 3056 to your antivirus software, or restart your computer by completely removing it from your computer.

If the user's computer is going to log on from another computer outside the local network, you need to do the following. (Eg: If the host computer is in Ankara and the user computer is in Istanbul.)

  • You must supply Static IP. (Static IP number can be obtained from Türk Telekom.)

  • If you are using the database FIREBIRD, you must open the Control Panel program on the computer with the modem interface. You should open ports 3050, 3054, 3055, 3056 and 80. (The port should be opened by selecting TCP / UDP.) You can find information about opening ports from modem by using search engines. Our company does not support this issue. (The specified port numbers are the default ports in the Control Panel program.)

  • If you are using the database MSSQL, you need to open it from the modem interface on the computer where the Control Panel is installed. You need to open ports 3055, 3056, 1433, 1434. Our company does not support this issue. (The specified port numbers are the default ports in the Control Panel program.)

  • Enter the program by typing static IP ('EXAMPLE' (148.258.698.XXX) in the "Host IP" field on the user computer.
